This species is native to California, Nevada, Arizona and the northern Baja peninsula. Average length is 110-140cm. This species is quite variable in both color and disposition. Most specimens do become quite tame and make an excellent first time pet snake.  Animals should be maintained separately especially as juveniles due to their cannibalistic nature. We are working with 50/50 desert phase, albino and a 70/30 desert phase.
