Central America Tree Boa (Corallus ruschenbergerii)
Corallus ruschenbergerii is native to the central america and the island of Trinidad. Formerly considered part of the Amazon tree boa complex, this population has been given full species status. This is the largest of the tree boas with some specimens reaching lengths of 7ft. This species is also known as the black tailed tree boa or the Trinidad tree boa. This is a very rare species in captivity and we are fortunate to have obtained a pair of C.B. animals from Costa Rica.
