This a highly under appreciated species. Macklotts are a moderately sized python with a generally good disposition as adults. These pythons occur on three Islands, Timor, Roti and Samau with most specimens in herpetoculture coming from Timor. Easy to keep and easy to breed, with an unbelievable appetite, these are a personal favorite. We are currently working with 2.2 Timor island specimens.
