Mocquards Beauty Snake (Elaphe taeniura mocquardi)
This sub-species ranges from the plains of southern China into northern Vietnam. Mocquards average around 160cm in length though specimens up to 190cm are known. This is the most striking of the beauty snakes with some specimens displaying bright yellow coloration. Specimens from northwestern Vietnam exhibit features of both mocquardi and yunnanensis and are considered to be natural intergrades.
We are currently working with 1.1 T+ albino specimens.
